Creators deserve to keep what they earn.
The problem
Every day, creators put their lives into the work. The late nights editing. The ideas that hit. The videos that rack up hundreds of thousands — sometimes millions — of views.
And then the payout arrives. Pennies.
It's the open secret of the creator economy: the platforms keep the algorithm, the ads, and the lion's share of the money. A video can reach a million people and earn a creator less than a day's wage. The audience is real. The influence is real. The income never matches either.
Meanwhile, the people watching — the fans who rewatch, who comment, who share every post — would gladly send their favourite creator something to say thank you. They just have no simple way to do it. The support is there. The bridge isn't.
That gap, between fans who want to give and creators who can't receive, is the problem we set out to fix.
What we built
Tipping is the simplest way for fans anywhere in the world to support the creators they love.
A creator signs up in under a minute and gets one link. They drop it in their bio. From that moment, any fan — in Lagos, London, Nairobi, or New York — can tap it, choose an amount, and send a tip in seconds. No app to download. No account to create. No friction.
The money collects in the creator's balance and is paid out to their account, in their local currency. For bigger goals — new gear, studio time, a project that matters — creators can run a campaign with a target and a progress bar their fans can rally behind.
No middleman taking the lion's share. No platform deciding what a creator's work is worth. Just a direct line between a creator and the people who value what they make.
Why it matters
We believe the relationship between a creator and their fans is one of the most valuable things on the internet — and for too long, everyone has profited from it except the creator.
Tipping changes who gets paid. It puts the money back where it belongs: with the person who made the work. Whether someone has a thousand followers or ten million, whether they're a dancer, a comedian, a musician, a teacher, or a storyteller — if their work moves people, those people should be able to support them. Directly. Instantly. From anywhere on earth.
That's the whole idea. Build the bridge. Get out of the way. Let creators get paid what they're worth.
Built for the world, from the ground up
Tipping is built to work the way money actually moves — not just in one country, but everywhere. Fans pay with the methods they already use, from cards to local wallets, and creators receive in the currency they spend in.
We started where the need is greatest and the tools have been thinnest, and we're building outward — one creator, one country, one community at a time.
